Privacy
Policy
Last updated: 13 April 2026
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to Super Intelligence Machines Limited (“SIM”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), a company incorporated in the Isle of Man, operating the website at superintelligentmachines.com (the “Site”).
We are committed to protecting your personal data and processing it fairly and transparently in accordance with the Isle of Man Data Protection Act 2018, which closely mirrors the principles of the UK GDPR and EU GDPR.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
When you submit the contact form on our Site, we collect:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Company name (optional)
- Technology stage
- Message content
This data is used solely to respond to your enquiry and to determine whether a partnership may be appropriate.
Information collected automatically
If you accept analytics cookies, we collect aggregated, anonymised data about how visitors interact with the Site (pages visited, time on page, referral source, device type). This is collected via Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager. We do not receive personally identifiable information from this service when IP anonymisation is enabled.
Spam and bot protection
Our contact form uses a server-side form token to detect and discard automated submissions. No personal data from bot submissions is retained.
3. Cookies
We use two categories of cookies:
simiom_cookie_consent Stores your cookie preference (accepted / declined). Expires after 1 year. Set by Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) only after you click Accept on our cookie banner. These cookies help us understand visitor behaviour in aggregate so we can improve the Site. Google’s privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy.
If you decline, or before you make a choice, Google Tag Manager is loaded in a consent-denied state. No analytics data is collected or sent to Google.
You may change your cookie preference at any time by clearing your browser cookies and revisiting the Site, which will re-display the consent banner.
4. How we use your data
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Data retention
Contact form submissions are retained for as long as necessary to evaluate and manage the related enquiry, and no longer than 3 years unless a longer period is required by law. Analytics data is retained in accordance with Google Analytics’ default retention settings (26 months).
6. Your rights
Under the Isle of Man Data Protection Act 2018 you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erase your data (right to be forgotten) where no overriding legal ground applies
- Restrict or object to certain processing activities
- Data portability where processing is based on consent or contract
- Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior lawful processing)
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address in section 7. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Isle of Man Information Commissioner.
